Requirements
1) Locate 8 different real estate listings for houses, condos, or apartments for sale (NOT RENT). You may include any property located in the continental United States. (These can be obtained in any local newspaper or through various Internet sites such as realtor.com)
2) Rank each property for 1 – 8 based upon your personal opinion of which property is has best value for its price.
3) Create a poster board presentation that includes:
At least 1 photo of each property as well as the following information:
City & state
Price
Price per square foot
Monthly Payment (30 Year Mortgage at a 4.5% interest rate)
Square footage of house
Number of bedrooms & bathrooms
Property (lot) size
School district
Other amenities such as pool, garage, fireplace, etc.
Your ranking for each property
4) On a separate sheet of paper, include a typed statement listing each property from 1st to 8th with an explanation summarizing your thoughts as to why your top ranked house was the best value and your lowest ranked house was the worst value.
5) You will be graded on your information collected and ability to explain why you ranked the properties as you did.
